What are the issues?

Infrastructure

Solutions and decisions made by the next town council will have a lasting impact on our town. The revitalization of Howard Street, implementation of the Boone Next Comprehensive Plan, and the selection of a new town manager are just a few of the critical decisions at stake.

Housing

Accessibility to housing continues to be a struggle for too many people in our town. We need new solutions developed through collaborative efforts to provide more options for people at every income level.

Sustainability

We have a strong foundation already underway to tackle the rapidly worsening climate crisis but we must do more and we must do it fast. I will support efforts to strengthen our response to this challenge and help champion new solutions for our children’s future.
